About Pierino

Per Åsander started his company in the year 2000. At that time in Norway under the name Manforte ANS. Today he conducts his activities from Sweden and the company is called Pierino.se.

The company is based on Per's excellent knowledge about Italian wines, food and culture. He is educated as a wine expert (sommelier) at the "Associazione Italiana Sommeliers" (AIS) in Rome and he speaks the Italian language fluently after having studied it at language schools both in Norway and Italy. Furthermore he has lived in Italy for shorter and longer periods and of course travelled through the country yearly with Scandinavian groups.

During all these years he has acquired extensive knowledge about most of the Italian regions, their cultural treasures, cuisine and wine production. Regions he knows very well are Veneto, Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Toscana, Marche, Lazio, Campania, Puglia and Sicily. Naturally he has even achieved good relations to hotels, bus companies, restaurants, tourist organizations and incoming services all over the country.

Some of Pierino.se's group trips starts both in Stockholm and Oslo. The travels starting in Oslo is sold by the travel agency ItaliaREISER in Oslo. For information about programs, dates and prices from Norway, please look up www.italia.no.

Wine tastings are arranged on assignment in mid- and southern Sweden and even in southern Norway.
